Keller Williams is the biggest brokerage brand in Texas, and there are good agents inside it. The question isn’t the sign in the yard — it’s who actually shows up at your showings, reads your contract, and answers the phone at 8pm. Here is the honest difference between working with me and working with a large-brokerage office.

What you’re comparingWorking with me (Autumn, MAG Real Estate)A large brokerage office
Who you actually work withMe, start to finish — the same person who answers your first message writes your offer and stands at your closing.Depends on the agent you get matched with; some hand parts of the work to assistants or transaction coordinators.
Experience levelYou know before you start: I’m a REALTOR® with MAG Real Estate, LLC (TREC #9013141), and my Google reviews are all first-time buyer and seller work you can read.Ranges from 30-year veterans to agents on their first month, under the same brand.
MLS accessSame San Antonio & Central Texas MLS — the listings are identical, no brokerage sees homes first.Same MLS.
New constructionI read the builder’s contract with you line by line and negotiate incentives; the builder pays my side.Available, but varies by agent’s new-construction experience.
What it costs you as a buyerUsually nothing out of pocket — the seller’s side pays. Written down before we tour. See how it works.Commission-based too; most large brokerages don’t publish how it works.
Response timeYou have my cell: 512.484.9540.Often a team inbox or a call center for lead routing.

When a big brokerage is the better call

If you’re buying a $2M+ estate that needs national luxury marketing, or you’re relocating to a city where I don’t practice, a large brand with that specific desk is a fair choice. I work Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays counties — New Braunfels, Gruene, Solms, Kyle, and the Hill Country. Outside that, I’ll refer you to someone local rather than guess.

What first-time buyers usually care about

Every step explained in plain English — pre-approval, offer, option period, inspection, closing. Market data before you make an offer, not after. And someone who tells you when a house is a bad idea. That’s the whole job.

Questions people ask

Do I see different homes with a different brokerage?

No. Every agent with MLS access sees the same active listings on the same day. What changes is who reads the disclosures with you and how hard your offer is negotiated.

Is a solo agent riskier than a big office?

Every Texas agent works under a licensed broker. I’m sponsored by MAG Real Estate, LLC (TREC #9013141), so the same broker oversight, trust accounts, and TREC rules apply.

What does buyer representation cost me?

In most New Braunfels transactions, nothing out of your pocket — the seller’s side pays it, including on new construction. It’s in writing before we tour homes.

Not sure which fits you?

Tell me what you’re trying to do and where you’re moving. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and point you somewhere else.
